Oh My Goodness!

Our Chloe
I always tell Earl that she is the comic relief of our family.

Recent conversation.....
Chloe:   Mom, the cat is in my way!!
Mom:  Give her a chance to move before you freak out.
ONE SECOND PAUSE
Chloe:  MOM!!!  I'm freaking out!!!

------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday I gave her a bowl of Cocoa Puffs for breakfast then made my way around the house trying to get everyone else ready for our busy Saturday.

A bit of time later, Little Miss Chloe turned up in the bathroom where I was getting Brayden in the tub.
I asked her if she would like a bath.
She said, "No, Mommy, I just did my hair."
Looking at her hair, I notice that there are some wet spots.  Maybe like she had wet hands and tried to scrunch up the curls in her hair like mommy does.
I say, "Did you use some water to do your hair?"
Chloe: "No, I just did it."
Of course, now I'm curious......
attempting to figure out what she has in her hair I lean over to get a closer look........
and notice..............
her hair smells like Cocoa Puffs!

Apparently she decided the milk from her cereal was a GREAT product to put in her hair!

So...Chloe had no choice...
it was time for a bath!!!

Quote

"God doesn't give children with special needs
to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary,
weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with
special needs doesn't take a special family, it makes a special
family." ~unknown author

No News is Good News?????

Just a quick update......Earl had a CT scan of his chest last week.  Results....he has pulmonary nodules.  Shouldn't be anything serious....probably caused by lung infections he had as a child.....x-ray in 6 months to make sure they aren't getting bigger.

But this is NOT the reason for his chest pains......so, we don't know a reason.....we just know it WASN'T the most serious of causes.  Thank goodness.

We feel blessed.
