Easter

We had a wonderful Easter. The kids decorated eggs on Saturday (Chloe's birthday). On Sunday, they found their eggs and baskets from the Easter Bunny. That evening we went to Nana Molly and Poppy Ed's house for dinner and a grand egg hunt all over their big yard! The kids had tons of fun! We did try to make sure they knew we celebrate because of Jesus and not just the Easter Bunny. I always hope they think of that first. We'll continue to try and instill that in them!

Chloe's Party

Make sure to turn on the music. The song is really cute!!

It's Her Party And She'll Walk If She Wants To!!

Chloe had an awesome 1st Birthday! She took center stage by deciding to walk all the way across our living room. Of course, everyone cheered!! We were so excited for her! We also had a really wonderful time hanging out with our family and friends. Teri's parents (Nana and Poppy), her sister, Trisha, her brother, David, and their families came over. We were also lucky to have our friends Dennis and Mindy and their kids!

Chloe really enjoyed her birthday cupcake. The chocolate frosting was all over her face. I think some of it made it into her mouth. She also really enjoyed opening her presents and playing with her new toys. She got a really fun shape sorter/drum, a musical symphony piano, a walker activity toy and a new wagon. Also, a cute Eeyore toy and a beautiful blue dress.

She had a great time and so did we. It is such a blessing to have our family close by. And throwing in a few friends makes it even more special!!

New First Pres Picture

This is the picture of thw new First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Pres. Monson was my dad's bishop when he was a young man. Pres. Monson also officiated at the sealing of our family in the Salt Lake Temple. I can't wait to hear from him at General Conference in April!

Car Shopping Is Over!!!

Well, we finally have a new car to replace the poor little Sonata that Earl slammed into the I-15 median. I am so glad that car shopping is finished! Andraia didn't get her wish for a blue car, but she seems pretty happy with the new gray Sonata that she helped her daddy pick out! Spencer had begun to complain about his dad driving too many cars that he wasn't going to buy, so I am sure he is happy, too. Brayden and Chloe just like to ride in the cars. They don't care what color they are or who owns them!

Pictures will follow soon!

Girls' Night Out

Andraia's school had a Girls' Night Out for moms and daughters last night. We had so much fun! We decorated cupcakes, painted fingernails and watched a gymnastics demonstration. Andraia had the most fun watching all of the people around us. She is such an observant little girl. She definitely needs time to feel out what is going on around her before she joins in. And she sure takes after my mom. Mom would always sit and 'people watch' while we were at Disneyland. I had a great time just hanging out with my girl. It'll be so much fun to take her and Chloe to do things together when Chloe is a little bigger! I can't wait!

This pic is of Andraia's pretty, pink, sparkly fingernails!

The Verdict Is In

So, the car is totaled. Bummer. Hopefully Earl will be able to find a decent car for the money that the insurance company is paying us. It'll be a new adventure. Andraia already has her vote in for a blue car. She doesn't care what kind, as long as it is blue. I'm sure Spencer has an opinion, I just haven't heard what that is yet. Brayden and Chloe won't care what it looks like as long as they get to ride in it. The more car rides the better for Brayden!

We'll post new pictures as soon as we make a decision!!
