He has also been singing this summer. He recently sang with a small primary group in sacrament meeting. He did a great job! He has a great memory and remembered all of the words for the songs they had learned. I was rather impressed! It was really neat to see him getting more comfortable in front of all of those people.
He has also been busy with scouts. In our most recent Court of Honor, he earned his First Aid Merit Badge. This is the first Merit Badge he has earned. It isn't 'required' that 11 year old scouts earn any merit badges, so this puts him on the path to great accomplishments in scouts.
Last week he attended Adventure Park Scout Camp with Earl, Br. Brady, and Jacob M. Earl was recently called as the 11 year old assistant scoutmaster. Although Spencer protests it, I think he really enjoys having his dad at scouts. At this special camp, they were able to accomplish many of the things that are necessary for Spencer to head down the trail to earning his Eagle. He did a great job. He and Jacob really had a fun time together and kept each other laughing!
He really is growing too fast!!

You are so awesome Spencer!! Spencer was the only one I even heard in that choir performance. I am so glad that he and Earl can have this very special time together in scouts. He is a neat kid and I just love his art work!!!
I'm so bummed I missed Spencer's performance! He is such an amazing kid. I love him to peices. It is such a blessing to teach him in Primary. Way to go Spencer!!
Jacob had so much fun with Spencer at Scout camp. We need to get them together sometime.
