The opening reception is from 6:30-8:30 but his work will be on display until the 22nd. They are even having a guest speaker. Greg Olsen is an awesome artist, and we are thrilled that he will be at the reception. Here is a sample of his wonderful art:

I HATE Waiting for the Phone to Ring!!

So, it seems like I've spent all week waiting for the phone to ring. Yesterday, I found out that the results for Andraia's EEG were at the doctor's office but I had to wait for the doctor to read them and call us. Have I ever mentioned how impatient I am?

Luckily, I was just sitting down to blog about how much I hate waiting for the phone to ring when...the phone rang! Not the doctor, but my wonderful friend Jacque. Just calling to see if we knew anything. Then, in the middle of our conversation, my cellphone rang. It was the doctor.

The results are.....NORMAL!!!

In a way, I'm not very excited to hear that, because it leaves me with questions.

Did she really have seizures at school?
Was it something else?
Do I still need to watch her like a hawk, just in case?

But I would rather have normal results and be confused than hear that something is horribly wrong.

I truly believe that there has been something going on, but all of the prayers and the blessing from Earl did what they were supposed to do. Our little girl is healthy and happy. We haven't noticed any more problems. What a blessing.

We are so lucky to have friends and family who support and love us. And worthy priesthood holders who were able to help with her blessing. Miracles really do happen. And not just in this situation, but everyday of our lives.

Thank you!

EEG

Andraia had her EEG yesterday. She did really well, especially since she was very afraid of going in the room and laying down on the hospital bed. This picture is what the wires for the EEG look like. I didn't take my camera, but if you can picture Andraia with all of these coming off of her head....it was a crazy sight.
Now, we wait for results. I'm not a patient person, but I'm trying. Hopefully by Wednesday or Thursday.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Apostle Song

Thanks to Danyelle for passing along this cute video! Haven't shown it to my kids yet, but I know Andraia is going to ask to watch it many, many times!

Thanksgiving Point Dino Museum

My awesome friend, Ariane, invited us to visit the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. Our kids really enjoy their family, so it was a no-brainer and we jumped at the chance to go. Brayden was having a quiet day and rode in the stroller, so we didn't get any pics of him, but he enjoyed the ride!

The most surprising part of the day was the blizzard that blew in while we were there. When we left the museum, the winds were so strong. It was like one of those nightmares where you're rumming, but not getting anywhere! I shuttled the kids to the car, then ran back for the stroller. We were wet and cold, but it was a great excuse to have hot chocolate when we got home!

We Love Logan!

We just returned from a wonderful weekend in Logan. We initially planned the trip to attend Earl's cousin's wedding, but decided to take the opportunity to spend a long weekend, since the kids would be starting Spring Break.

We had such a great time! We visited with lots of family....mostly at Angie's restaurant versus the wedding reception. And reconnected with some of our fantastic friends! It was so much fun to visit with Becca and her girls at Willow Park. I can't believe how fast they grow.....they aren't supposed to do that when I'm not there! We are already looking forward to our annual trip to the Festival of Trees. Well, we have missed a couple of years because of pregnancies and brand new babies, but we don't count those!

It sure was nice to find out that the Ellis family are still the best BBQ buddies ever! Brian's steaks and dutch oven potatoes are to die for. In fact, Spencer is looking for ways to make us move up there or at least visit much more often because the food was so good. I think he also really enjoyed playing in their backyard....once again, when can we make our next trip???

We really needed the weekend away. It was the best!

Andraia's favorite part of the weekend? The pool at the hotel and visiting with Uncle Richard and Aunt Louise. They are such great people! They love our kids like they are their own grandchildren. We miss Earl's mom so much, so it is great to have this connection, and we really enjoy the surrogate grandparents!

We also had the opportunity to meet Earl's stepdad's new wife. They were married a year ago, but we haven't been to Logan to meet her. She is so sweet. And as an added bonus, we met their newest addition. Abigail Naomi was born on Friday. She is very tiny and in the NICU until she gains weight, but she is so beautiful! Earl even had the privilege of giving her a blessing! He was so grateful for the opportunity.

We know that we were moved to Orem for many reasons, and will always be amazed at the circumstances that brought us here, but we genuinely love and miss Logan and all of the people we 'left behind'.

Go Aggies!!
